Programmes on Computers and IT
Introduction
The Global Open University, Nagaland has introduced the
following distance learning Degree Programmes in areas of
Computer Science and Information Technology :
1. Three years Master of Computer Applications (MCA).
2. Three years Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA).
3. Two years Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Information
Technology in Hindi as well as in English medium.
Decentralised Examination
The examination for the Bachelor's and the Master's
Degrees in Computers and IT are conducted twice a year in
the last week of June and December every year. The
examinations are held at Agartala, Aizawl, Allahabad,
Ahmedabad, Aurangabad, Bangalore, Bareilly, Bhopal,
Bhubaneshwar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Dehradun, Dimapur, Delhi,
Gangtok, Goa, Gorakhpur, Guwahati, Hanumangarh, Hyderabad,
Imphal, Itanagar, Jaipur, Jamshedpur, Jammu, Kohima, Kolkata,
Kota, Lucknow, Mumbai, Meerut, Nasik, Pathankot, Port Blair,
Patna, Pune, Ranchi, Raipur, Rohtak, Shillong, Shimla,
Srinagar, Sri Ganganagar, Trivandrum, Udaipur, Varanasi,
Wokha.

New Subjects to be Added on a Continuing Basis
The Global Open University, Nagaland has decided to
update its curriculum on a continuing basis. The subjects
mentioned for different semesters in the following pages may
be changed should these be deemed necessary for enabling the
students to acquire necessary skills in the new and emerging
areas of Information Technology.
